Update on the Community
As Brad was highlighting last week, we have used members' feedback for improvements since launch: event calendar, opening groups to ease contribution, update social sharing icon location, roll out new features...
We have offered two new layouts for vote to the community owners. Their preference is towards Layout A which is a bit simpler, but the votes are very close.
What is your point of view? Any layout you really don't like?!
Click on a picture to zoom in, and then please comment with your observations.
The next changes will be about the overview pages (example). We have already asked the community owners' feedback, but what YOU need is the most important.
The ARM Processors group has two additional community owners from this week. Ben Walshe and Eoin McCannwill be looking after System IP related content (CoreSight, CoreLink, AMBA...)
I also want to warn you that Smart and Connected group will be renamed to Internet Of Things. Today, IoT content is split between Smart and Connected and Embedded.
On top of making it easier to know where to post, re-purposing the group will also allow it to cover subjects like mbed. I am currently doing some testing to make sure links to the existing blogs won't break when we do the change. Also, we will move existing IoT content from Embedded to the renamed group. Change will occur during weekend to minimise disruption and you will be notified in Connecting the Dots. Also, all members of Smart and Connected will receive an inbox notification.

Tip - Browsing Discussions Like a Forum - Obvious Unread Content
Even if this community platform allows you to subscribe to content so you only see what you care about, we understand some members/readers are browsing the community discussions like they would forums.
When you look at the list of discussions, you can very quickly learn if you have read the full thread or not.
If you have not read the thread or one of its replies, the thread title will be in bold. This only works when listing discussions, not when listing all content.
To list all discussions/questions, see Update on the Community in Nearly 90% of Discussions Have Replies, New ARMv8-A Whitepaper by ARM and Qualcomm, ARM’s 64-bit big.LITTLE at 2.5GHz+
