ARM and Partners finalists in Elektra Educational Support Awards 2014

ARM with Cubestormer 3 has been named finalist in the Elektra European Electronics Industry Awards 2014 in the Educational Support Award category.

The Cubestormer 3 was created by two engineers:

1. David Gilday, a principal engineer working at ARM and
2. Mike Dobson, a robotics engineer, and cubing robot expert!

Educational Support Award

Finalists in this award category have truly demonstrated their commitment to the education of engineers of the future by providing support to schools, colleges and universities.

Top finalists in this category are:

• ARM – Cubestormer 3 Rubik Cube solver
• Freescale– Freescale Cup intelligent model car racing (based on the ARM Cortex-M0+ Freedom development platform)
• Keysight Technologies – EEsof university educational support programme
• National Instruments– Saving the planet, one engineer at a time project
• Rohde & Schwarz UK – Technology learning programme (TLP)
• Sondrel– IC design course with the University of Nottingham and Mentor Graphics Corporation

The award will take place on Wednesday 26th November at the Lancaster London, W2 2TY.
