I am developing a RIoT Board (ARM Cortex-A9 architecture) into an Android based Retail Merchandising Display with real time inventory tracking using the products' RFID tags. I figure if an OEM or distributor could do real time inventory tracking in the retail locations then there could be much better supply chain management and loss prevention, etc. Would also make the retail managers' jobs easier. With the HDMI video, you could run interactive videos to promote the products. Maybe even let customers do a live video call with the OEM or Distributor rep to get you questions answered from the retail floor? A lot of possibilities to help drive sales and manage inventory.
